Javier Oxte has been in the lighting business for 12 years. It all started one summer when his father thought it was a good idea to teach his son what it was to truly work hard. After putting a torch in his hand it was all uphill from there. He joined Visionaire lighting in early 2001 during our 1 st year. He worked his way up from welder, to supervisor of the welding department when someone finally noticed his keen sense of urgency and his ability to utilize materials with little or no waste. He was brought indoors and promoted to executive assistant to Curt Jones. After the opening of our Ensenada plant he became a key player in the transportation of materials and expediting of orders. When not helping the company meet our goals he enjoys spending time with his 2 children Valerie 10, and Jason 3. He has been an avid collector of baseball cards, sports memorabilia, coins, and action figures since he was 13 years old. Every chance he gets you can find him at Dodger stadium cheering his team or polishing his new Mercedes Benz, his other baby.
