Spencer has been in the commercial lighting industry since 1987 after graduating from Purdue University with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  He began his career with Lithonia Hi-tek in Crawfordsville, IN as a marketing trainee.  He has served in several national sales management roles working with manufacturers’ representatives and national account organizations in the retail, automotive and shopping center markets.  Spencer spent four years as a manufacturers’ representative in southern California and Cincinnati, OH.  He received the NCQLP-Lighting Certification (LC) credential in 2001.  Spencer lives in Indianapolis, IN where he enjoys golf, running and family activities with his wife and four children.
