Curtis Jones, best known as "Curt" by his friends and coworkers, was Visionaire Lighting's Vice President of Manufacturing. He passed away in his sleep on October 27th, 2009, and it may honestly be said of him that he was one of the rocks upon which Visionaire Lighting was built.
He had a generous spirit, a kind word for all who crossed his path, and a positive outlook that served by example. He was also a heckuva problem-solver. Curt will be greatly missed by everyone who had the good fortune of knowing him, and leaves behind many friends at Visionaire Lighting.
He is survived by his son, Christopher; granddaughter, Ariana; mother, Roxanne; sister, Feleice; brother, Larry; and his dog, Toby.
"To a man whose light could never completely go out…
may you rest in peace, Curt."
Bio:
Curt had worked in the lighting industry since 1982. He started as a Production Assistant at a small lighting company. That company was then purchased by a large, multicompany lighting concern. During his tenure at that company, Curt worked his way up to Planning and Production Control Supervisor of over one hundred employees. He created Bills of materials for thirty (30) product lines. Prior to joining Visionaire in 2001 he was Manager of Operations at another well known indoor/outdoor lighting manufacturer.
Curt had a degree in Psychology and many certificates in various manufacturing disciplines. Curt enjoyed music, almost any kind of sport, his friends and family, and his best friend, Toby. |
